yeah- we won again today. feels great. to little to late though huh? haha. now we're 8-11, got one more to make it 9-11 if we win tomorrow. hopefully we'll pull it through. it was a tough game today, we were down 3-0 until the 5th, then we scored 1, 5 and 1 for the win. took a nap when we got back after a game of bigs on 360. woke up and i headed off to junga juice to sit on the internet that is continuous. haha. then we're watching a movie tonight. we don't play until 630 tomorrow, so we get to sleep in.

haha- yeah we beat yuma this time- 15 to 5. we came out swinging. actually, not really. the guy was walking a bunch of guys. and we got one or two hits here and there. anyways- another game tomorrow at 2 in yuma, against san diego, then wrap it up on thursday against san luis in san luis.


right now i'm off to play bigs with arcadia.

the final week

well- this is the last week of games. we aren't going to make it to the playoffs- but hopefully we can finish on a 4 game winning streak. we won yesterday 11-9. kash got ejected, and olsen hit a grand slam. off day today- we just kinda lounged around today- gonna go see a movie in a little bit though. that movie "taken" it looks pretty good. we have 3 games left- tuesday wed and thursday. then playoffs, and the draft. don't know when i'm leaving yet. prolly monday morning early.

tough loss

well- we were supposed to play at 4, against western canada...AGAIN. but at the last minute we got changed to 630 against san luis. so we go tto the field at our normal time for a 4pm game, and did our pregame, then had a couple hours off before we went to san luis for our game. game started out rough- they scored 4 runs in the first inning. but we came back with 3 in the second. it kept going back and forth until the bottom of the 7th, they had bases loaded no outs, and our pitcher hit the guy to force in the winning run. so we lost 10-9. i had 2 hits, olsen had 2 hits, and arcadia had a hit. it was an offensive day to say the least. back in action today in blythe, we have to be at the field at 330, and leave at 5. i'm about to hop in the pool- it's nice out today. prolly 75 degrees or so. alright well, we hopefully get a win today!

back in action

lucas and mom left tuesday..i drove them to phoenix. it's actually a nice drive. it's open country with a lot of mountains in the background. phoenix is a huge city. on monday we drove to san diego, because my team was off. i had never been there. it was totally different than what i was expecting. plenty of hills and mountains. very beautiful. we made it to mission beach, and by the time we got there it had stopped raining, and the sun was out. it was a little chilly, but still nice. lucas ran around in the water...he had fun, but couldn't swim because he was wearing jeans.

got home that night, and played some DS with lucas, and then went to bed. lucas loves his DS- he likes playing mario. we finally found out how to get to world 4, and that was very exciting for lucas.

we won on sunday, so that was one in a row, then we won yesterday, which was 2 in a row. but we lost today. 3-2. kid hit a homer in the top of the last inning. we couldn't come through in the bottom. i didn't play today, i played yesterday and sunday. went 2 for 4 on sunday, and 2 for 3 yesterday. had an off day today..i should play tomorrow.

i think they fixed the interent here at the hotel, because i'm getting a great signal.

oh- me and arcadia did abs this morning with Men Su- the chinese trainer at the gym. hard core. but she said it was an easy day because it was pilates abs, so only body weight and not physio balls or medicine balls. we'll see on tuesday.

got another 4pm game tomorrow, in san luis, don't know who we play, but i'm sure i'll find out tomorrow. haha. have a good night! bout to play some xbox.

mom and lucas are here

made the trip to phoenix to pick up my mom and lucas from the airport yesterday. long lonely drive there. haha. anyways- got back around 8, but we just stayed in the hotel and went to bed. had a game this morning at 11am, we almost got no-hit AGAIN, but ended up losing 6-4. we have another 11am game tomorrow. i took a nice nap today while lucas was hoolahooping for about 2 hours straight without stopping. seriously and and literally. not joking. i forgot to write anything yesterday, but there wasn't really much to write. bed time now, but big game tomorrow.

double header split

we got rain on saturday, so we came back to the field on sunday to play a double header. instead of traveling to blythe, we stayed in yuma, because the field was flooded at blythe. we wont he first game like 9-3, but we got trashed the second game, 14-1. i went 0-2 with 2 walks and 2 sb's and the run scored in the second game. it was a long night- or day i mean. we got there at 10am ready to go to blythe, only to find out it was flooded. so we came back at 3 for a 530 doubleheader. we didn't get back to the hotel until about 1145 that night. i'm exhausted today. sittin in junga juice, relaxing. my mom and lucas are coming tomorrow, and i know lucas is going to enjoy every minute of being out here. i think i'm going to the pilates class at the gym tonight with bobby and arcadia. that should be fun.

tough game

we had a game against palm springs at 4pm. got up went to church's for lunch, then headed to the field. we jumped out to an early 5-1 lead, we hit 3 homeruns, and were up 7-4 in the last inning. then they scored 7 runs, and we were down 11-7 with one at-bat left. needless to say we didn't come back. tough game, kash was pissed, even though we hit well, which we did. but defense and pitching killed the game for us.

so we just gotta pick it up and go after it tomorrow in blythe. don't know who we're playing, but we need a win.

morning game today

yeah we had to be at the field for pregame at 930am today. that was tough. we played the west canada miners. they were winless, had an 18 strike out game, and were no-hit yesterday, but they beat us. their pitcher pitched 6 1/3 perfect innings before giving up a hit. weekday games are 7 innings to help save pitching. i think each team only has like 8 pitchers. not nearly enough. anyways. i didn't play today- we took a team vote that during the weekday games, instead of splitting the games and maybe only getting 1 at-bat, you just play the whole game, and if you sit out, you start the next day. makes sense, because it gives us more consistent ABs. after the game, me and olsen took like a 2 hour nap- it felt great. then a little trip to sports authority for some BG's and then some fight night on xbox. finally got the internet to work at the hotel. which is good, so i don't have to go to junga juice all the time anymore. for internet that is. because i'll get those smoothies. prolly gettin ready to go to applebees or something.

back into action today

we were supposed to play at 6:30 tonight against mitch's team, and have lunch at the greek restaurant. SOO i woke up around 11, because we went to bed late last night from playin xbox. so i shower and start to get ready, and olsen comes and says the game got moved up because apparently san diego was supposed to play palm springs for the 3rd time in THREE games. SOOO they flip flopped us, and we played at 4 now, and we played against san diego instead of san luis. they also moved our lunch to hometown buffet, and we had to be at the field by 2. so we got to the field in groups, and kash just had everyone come out to the field whenever they arrived, and we started hitting early, instead of waiting for everyone to get there at 2. after that we drove to san luis, and got stretched and ready to play . i batted 8th and played left. scoreless game until the 5th when olsen doubled, and then i hit a 2-run homerun to left. we won 5-0. i ended up 2-for-3. olsen was 1-for-3 and arcadia got a hit too.

stopped at DQ on the way home for an oreo blizzard, and then headed back. me and olsen are at junga juice right now because the internet at the hotel is GARBAGE. we'll probably stay here for another 20 minutes, then head back and play some xbox. got an 11am game tomorrow. so to bed early!!!!!

tuesday we had practice

at 2, and then we worked out, and grabbed a bite, and played some xbox. mitch rented fight night, and we played that forever. i still haven't gotten the hang of it, so i'm not that good. flythe is good too, and he whooped up on me. it was pretty much a kick back and relax day, which is good, because we have a bunch of games this week.

monday was an off day

BUT we had a hitting discussion in the clubhouse with kash. he just went over the mental aspect of hitting with all the hitters who wanted to come. we talked for about an hour discussing different situations and the like. i was still not feeling well- i pretty much had a fever sunday night, but i cranked the heat up and sweated it out. after that me and mitch took some cuts in the cage, just working on hitting the ball, not too much. then we grabbed a bite to eat. later that night we had dinner in MEXICO...algadones to be exact. it was nice- right across the border, so didn't have to worry about being kidnapped or ra**d. didn't buy anything, because i'll prolly be going back in a week or so, so i wanted to save money for the now. got back and played some xbox. don't have practice till 2 on tuesday.

BACKLOG OF INFO...

So I know I’m a few days behind, the internet does not cooperate. With being at the field most of the day, and not having internet in my room, it’s tough to sit out by the pool at 1 in the morning when it’s freeezing out. Anyways. Where I left off I think was Thursday. Maybe. I’m on team blythe. We play 8 home games in Blythe, California, which is about 1 hour 20 minutes away from yuma. But it seems much longer because we basically travle through the set of the hills have eyes. Literally. You don’t want to run out of gas out there, because there’s no place to stop in between. Well, except for the little town that’s about 1/10 of a square mile. Haha. The sheriff’s office is a double wide, and there’s only one cruiser in the town. Crazy. Anyways. It’s finally warming up during the day, and we had our first practice Thursday afternoon.

Our first game was Friday, against the silver sox, and we ended up winning 9-7 after they were up like 7-3. We started out hot, we went up 3-1, but then were down 7-3. I came up with bases loaded in the bottom of the first, and hit a fly ball to the wall and got a sac fly. Didn’t get any hits that night. Arcadia did good had a few hits and a couple bags. Our pitchers walked a ton of guys, that’s the only reason they scored 7 runs. We went to sizzler after the game in Blythe, and the drive home was crazy. We were basically due north, but in a different time zone. So game was at 630, but really 730, but really 930. Haha. We got back around 1am yuma time.

We had to be at the field at 2pm on Saturday for our next game, which was also in blythe. We were playing the scorpions. We went up big, 5-0, but then coughed it up and ended up losing 11-6. Our pitchers did better, but we blew it when we had the bases loaded and nobody out: ground ball back to the pitcher, and he MISSED it, messing up a sure double play. Next batter hit a ground ball to the second baseman who bobbled it, and only got one out. Then they got a few hits. I ended up with one hit. Flythe is on the scorpions, he had a hit too. Lingren dh’d for the scorpions, but he didn’t get a hit.

Olsen drove to the game because the night before we took too long at sizzler. So we ate and got outta there pretty quickly. On the way home, we were talkin about what we would do if we saw someone walking on the side of the road, or what about an animal that ran out. Somebody said something about a deer, and we were like, there’s no way there’s a deer out here, because it’s a desert! Not 10 minutes later, olsen started screaming he saw 2 deer on the side of the road. I didn’t believe him. Well, when we got back to the clubhouse, I decided to take a shower, and olsen left with arcadia and boom boom, who got that nickname because he hit a home run against the silver sox. 20 minutes later, kash walks in and says, “did you see me hit that deer?” he apparently slammed into one of the only 2 deers out in the desert. There was still hair on the front of the van. Glad I didn’t ride in the van- that would have been crazy!!


Well, Sunday was an off day for the super bowl, and that’s where I’m at now. I slept till about 1230, and went to hometown buffet with mitch for lunch. Then came back to the room to relax and watch the game. Then played a little xbox with lingren and mitch, and now I’m about to go to bed.

I’ll try not to get so backed up on here because it’s hard to remember details when I do.
