i went to get a smoothie from junga juice and they happened to have free wifi...so i'm in there now writing this. just thought i'd let you know. in case anyone was worried about my internet situation. apparently ROSS is on fire next door because like 15 fire trucks just pulled up. i don't know what's going on...if i find out i'll let you know.
i'm gonna go enjoy some fast internet for now.

day two
Today we did the same thing as yesterday, except no testing or anything. We hit in the morning, and then did some outfield/infield work, and then went to lunch. But it was freezing today. Not that the temp was so bad, but the wind was constantly blowing, so we didn’t get a chance to warm up in the sun. It was around 60 degrees though. 0 for 2 in the game, still trying to get timing. My team and another team got sandwiches and pizza for dinner, all the other teams went to olive garden or churchs chicken for dinner. We got to eat in the clubhouse, so that was nice. Went to starbucks to get some WiFi for my computer, but it was down, so the girl told me to go to barnes and nobles if I wanted it. But apparently she forgot to tell me you had to buy it. Definitely not going to buy it. Just go out by the pool and wait forever for the frickin pages to load. It’s all good. Bout to go to get a smoothie, and then go to the sports store for some batting gloves I think.
Oh and I finally lost to flythe in mvp. Haha.
Happy birthday josh(yesterday)

opening day
today was the first day of practice. we had to be on the field ready to go at 8:30. we did our stretching for about half hour, and then we got split up to run the 60 yard dash. it was pretty cold, like prolly 50 degrees and windy. so we ran the 60, i had a 6.6, brandon flythe had a 6.5, and mitch had a 6.45. then we split up into our scrimmage teams, and 4 groups hit int he cages, and 4 groups did throwing from the outfield/infield. that was about an hour, and then we switched. then it was lunch time. we had olive garden at the clubhouse, it was pretty good. a little cold.
after lunch we had our scrimmage games...8 teams on 4 fields, for about 3 hours. it was long. okay though. my first at bat seemed like i had never played baseball before in my life. it was like he was throwing 400mph...haha. it was like that for everyone's first at bat actually. second atbat went better, got a single to right. that was it.
after the game we all went to buffalo wild wings for a team dinner or whatnot. the local news was there interviewing the coaches and stuff..that was about an hour and a half long, then we came back to the hotel. played some MVP on xbox, and whooped up on flythe, 6-2. now i'm on the computer, but since we don't get an internet signal in our room, i'm out by the pool and it's windy and like 55. cold. dry. cold. haha.
tomorrow we get to sleep in an extra hour, and have to be at the field at 9:30, doing the same thing, but no 60 yard dash or infield and outfield testing. should be a much better day, and it's supposed to get warmer...i think. oh well. prolly gonna hit up the other applebees tomorrow night, since we've already been to this one twice already. we'll see. there's 3 in town...it's crazy...you'd think they were deprived or something.

check-in tomorrow
yeah we have check in at the hotel in the morning, then a meeting and dinner at 7 at the clubhouse. then the fun begins on monday. cant wait to get started!!! it should be fun. the weather is nice out here...about 80 degrees today, and it's pretty cool right now, low 50's maybe 40's. but nice. should be nice this whole week, obviously no rain since they get less than a half inch all year combined. still jet lagged- i drove 18hrs yesterday. brandon and i went to the field today to throw and get some running in. we met a guy out there that's gonna be playing, aaron, and we actually got a bucket of balls and took some swings in the cage.
we'll be ready for monday.
tired.
